I LOVE these brushes. I started out using them for personal use, and then bought 3 more sets for my pro kit.
PROS: if you are a beginner, this has everything you would need. The shapes of the brushes and density of bristles are perfect for their jobs, but they are also very versatile. The synthetic bristles hold up very well over time. I have been using my personal set for over 3 years. The sponge is also great, it applies foundation smoothly, is a good shape for a variety of uses, and does not absorb too much product.
CONS: Truly my only issue is the brush handles. I wish they were a more professional black color, and that they were thinner to fit in my brush belt. If Real Techniques came out with a pro line I would snatch it up! But these are only minor issues.

I used the blush brush and really like it. It's soft and puts just the right amount of product on my face. A winner.
As a makeup artist, I use these in my kit and I love them. The sponge I either keep for myself and give to the client. The brushes are a great buy for yourself or professional use.
