I've tried a lot of moisturizers in an effort to contain my super oily face. This is the first one where I noticed an actual difference. My face does go "matte" after I put it on. Whether it contributes to the overall matte finish on my face once I'm done applying everything else that keeps my make-up matte throughout the day is hard to say, but my initial impression is that it certainly has an immediate effect.

I love this moisturizer because it preps the skin and creates a layer that reduced shine making it perfect for long wearing makeup situations like bridal parties. It is best to keep it out of prolonged heat (like your car in summer) because it will lose its creamy texture and become more liquid.
I love this brand overall because the price point is low and the quality is high. The products are also unscented, which is better for more types of people and their sensitivities.
